Artist Statement:

Brett Hay is a kiln-formed glass artist based in Huntingtown, Maryland. His interest in glass art was ignited during his high school years, and he has since developed a deep passion for the medium. Hay employs a diverse range of techniques, including murrine and sand casting. Sand casting, in particular, involves the creation of textured patterns in sand and subsequent casting of glass into the mold.
