Artist Statement:

My work is inspired by the textile traditions of Uzbekistan and the cultural exchange that flourished along the Silk Road. I create contemporary wearable art from handwoven ikat fabrics, transforming traditional textiles into garments that celebrate beauty, craftsmanship, and individuality.

Each piece tells a story—of the artisans who weave the fabric, of the culture that shaped it, and of the person who wears it. Through my designs, I hope to share the rich artistic heritage of Central Asia while creating clothing that brings joy, confidence, and a sense of connection. My goal is to preserve traditional craftsmanship, support artisan communities, and introduce audiences to the timeless beauty of Uzbek textiles through modern design.
