Artist Statement:

When Covid came I found my passion – wool. An unexpected furlough from the plant nursery afforded me the time to return to art. Wool fibers offer endless possibilties to create art in 2D or 3D, portrait or landscape, vessel or wearable. Exploring each of these, I settled on needle-felted 2D portraits and landscapes, often described as "painting with wool." Restrictions ended, and although I am delighted to be back at the plant nursery assisting gardeners with their choices, expressing myself through my art will always be a priority.
