Artist Statement:

Ronni Jolles, a paper artist, was trained in a variety of media. After a career as an art educator for 18 years, she became a full-time professional artist in 2000. Ronni has created a textured and dimensional art form, where she uses hundreds of kinds of paper that she has gathered from around the world. Those papers are ripped, cut, and sculpted as they are glued to stretched canvas. Ronni has been juried into the prestigious Smithsonian Craft Show, CraftNewYork, and American Craft Council shows. Ronni has received numerous awards for her innovative art form.
