Currently a teaching artist at District Clay Center in Washington, DC, Jill graduated with a degree in ceramics from George Washington University and the Corcoran School of Art. She has maintained a private studio since 1996 and taught workshops and classes for 12 years. In addition to teaching, Jill was an Associate Artist at the Clay Studio in Philadelphia and has shown widely. Her primary interest is in functional work where she finds it an inspiring challenge to harmonize the demands of utility with those of imparting a measure of magic to her work.
